Wendell's Page
I am Wendell D. Dogg, known also as Wendell the Westie. I was whelped October 21, 1994. I used to live with Marvin and Nedda Honig at The Meadows in Melrose, Rensselaer County,
New York, April through October, and in Palm Harbor, Pinellas County, Florida, but in 2003 the sold that other place and now we all live here in Florida all year. We are not "snowbird dogs" any more
I also live with my baby step-sister, Bijoux, a Coton de Tulear, who joined the family July 12, 1997, as an 8-1/2 week old floor-wetting infant. Ugh! On the other hand ( I mean the other paw), she is fun to chase around the dining room table.
I used to work in Marvin's law office before he retired, greeting clients. Now my main job is home security. I alert the family to all people and animals that enter our area. Not once has the FedEx or UPS delivery men arrived unannounced, and at night I warn the family if any armadillos or deer come around. That pesky Bijoux barks whenever I make an announcement, trying to steal some credit for my work. Her main job seems to be sitting next to Nedda watching Trading Spaces on afternoon TV.
Marvin and I like to go for walks, and sometimes a carry.
