After a baby boy, born to Jewish parents, is 8 days old a special
ritual circumcision known as a Bris is performed at the baby's home.
In days of old, the tradition was for the baby's father to do it, but the father can give the honor to someone else. In modern times that person is a special Rabbi called a Mohel. This Rabbi does several hundred circumcisions a year, traveling around the country to do them. Both my brother, Jack, and I, were circumcised by the same Mohel, Rabbi Malka.

We are tastefully sharing some of the pictures from this
special day......

Before we start...

Some ceremonial wine tastes great...

It is almost time now...

All finished and in Dad's arms...

Rabbi Malka and me afterwards...

Everyone can relax now...

After the Bris was over my brother, Jack was able to play with his friend, Aiden. Click the bunny the to see them..
