With the donation of some delicious
Canadian Maple Syrup by Sara France St. Pierre, and some UCARE 2002 calendars
and brochures describing what UCARE does we set up a table to display and allow
guests to purchase the calendars and maple syrup with the funds going directly
to UCARE.
We just received a note from the
Treasurer of UCARE - an unexpected bonus of the party - over $300.00
was raised which will certainly help with the rescue of another Coton. Thank you
to all our guests who helped!
UCARE works to educate people about
puppy mills and the consequences resulting from them as well as to rescue Coton
de Tulear dogs no matter who their breeder is or where they come from.
